King, Stephen:

The author that started it all for us in terms of collecting. We view 'The Stand' as his best work and probably one of the greatest books written. This is the stunning ‘Coffin Box’ signed/limited edition which is a must have for any collection.

Whilst we obviously hold King in high regard, we don’t read any of his current or 21st century books as these don’t seem to have the magic of his earlier works. This is true even for The Dark Tower series - it started with such promise.

The red leather books were only available to people that signed up to the Stephen King Library many years ago. They were published by the Book of the Month Club and bound in faux leather with Stephen King's signature in gold on the front board. We are missing three of the thirty-seven published.
